喜欢这部美剧，那我的英语之路就从这里开始吧！
S01E01：表示第一季第一集，S是season的缩写，是季节的意思，也表示电视剧里第几季。E是episode的缩写，是剧集的意思。
截取第一季第一集父亲Jack和他妻子Rebacca的一段对话。很日常，但却能感觉到他们彼此的爱和唤闹雹生活在一起的有趣。
Okay, I'm ready.好的弯祥，我准备好了。
解析：I'm ready 是I am ready 的缩写，方便阅读，因为省了一个音节。多用作表达某件事准备好了。
拓展：田径赛事时，游戏中，常会说到Ready? go! 其中ready ？就是are you ready 的简称， go有跑，出发的意思，应该（因为还没考证正确与否，是笔者的猜测）是go ahead的约定俗成，方便日常使用。
日常用语，大家都讲究简历，用更短的时间表达大家都懂的信息，所以这就是英语很多连读和很多约定俗成的简称或者缩写。

解析：这句是复合从句，you promise是主句的主语和谓语，you like your gift 是主句的宾语，但是这个句子又是一个句子，有完整的主谓宾（you 主语，like谓语，your gift宾语），这样的句子称之为 宾语从句 ，两个句子复合成一个句子，所以又叫 复合从句 。

这是我二刷美剧《我们这一天》，之所以想再看一遍，是因为从这部很普通很平凡的家庭银滚毁生活剧中看到了现实生活中的真实，看到了原生家庭对于孩子的影响，从心理到行为，可以说影响的是方方面面。
有欢笑、有泪点，当然也有伤痛。
我们每个人都带着伤，来自家庭的伤，我们无意识地将这些过往带到了我们成年后的自己，在与各种关系的碰撞中，这些伤得以显现。
第一集开篇分了几条线：
1.一对夫妇，妻子Rebecxa怀着身孕（三胞胎）给丈夫Jack过36岁的生日，后来羊水破了，就去医院准备迎接三个新生宝宝的到来。哥哥和姐姐顺利出生，但第三个孩子不幸胎死腹中，这是痛苦，不可承受的痛苦。
而老医生对Jack说的一段话则是这集的点睛之笔：
2.Kate今年36岁，但因为肥胖对自己的人生丧失了信心，问哥哥Kevin“How did we get here？”“I ate my whole life dream up”…失落、自责与内疚让她下定决心要改变，于是参加了一群因受肥胖困扰的人的会议，希望对自己减肥有所帮助，实际上也是在治愈自己内心的伤痛。
3.Kevin今年36岁，他虽然是人人喜爱的荧幕明星，却怀疑自己是不是只能靠“卖肉”来获取观众廉价的喜爱。他不愿这样，他也不喜欢这样，他希望靠自己演技上的才华去获得成就，于是当他在觉得认清现实的情况下，让自己内心的恶魔爆发了出来，“I‘m screwed”是他对自己的不信任，也觉得自己的人生在36岁生日这天坠入了低谷，无助与恐惧感由心而生。
4.Randall今年36岁，是个黑人，他有着人人都羡慕的家庭与工作，但他一直不开心，因为亲生父亲在他出生时就把他扔在了消防局门口，虽然碰到很好的白人养父母，但从小与他人的不同、被亲生父母遗弃的伤痛让他的童年过得并备枣不幸福，至少他并不认为是幸福。成才后，有了能力去找寻自己的亲生父亲，在他生日这天终于找到，他鼓足勇气，带着愤怒敲开了他亲生父亲的大门，就想让他父亲在看到他现在这么人模人样后露出后悔的感觉，以此来报复他三十多年来的不闻不问。他心中的恨、愤怒在见到亲生父亲后并没有锋备消失，但他内心还是渴望与他亲生父亲多相处、多了解的。于是“冲动”地邀请他去看看他的孙女们。Randall哭笑着对他的妻子Beth说“What’s happening”。后来知道他现在身患绝症不久将离开人世，又将他留了下来，在同一屋檐下生活。
第一集临近结束，Kevin喝醉后躺着的沙发上有一张三人的合照，上面是：Kevin、Kate和Randall。至此才恍然大悟，原来他们仨就是开头那对夫妻的三胞胎（big three），这一家人的故事就这样时光交错地展开了。
